About Paul Mecurio

An Emmy and Peabody Award winner for his work on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

He has appeared in his own Comedy Central Special, starred in his own series on HBO, appeared on CBS’s The Late, Late Show, VH-1, Conan O’Brien, Red Eye w/Greg Gutfeld, Hannity, CNN, MSNBC, The Tonight Show, The Daily Show, and was hired by Jay Leno to write jokes for The Tonight Show.

Paul has performed three times at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal and has appeared regularly as a commentator on news and sports outlets including CNN, MSNBC, CBS Sunday Morning, Fox News, HLN and ESPN.

Paul Mecurio created and stars in his unique, hit one-man Broadway show, “Paul Mecurio’s Permission to Speak,” which met with rave reviews and nominated for the prestigious “Best One-Man Show” Broadway Alliance Award.
